Up until recently, the economy has run on relatively cheap, abundant fossil fuels --- but that won’t last. Even if supplies of oil, coal, and natural gas were unlimited, burning them in mass quantities generates greenhouse gases that contribute to massive climate change. With oil and gas prices rising sharply, businesses are looking for alternative renewable power sources and are constantly seeking ways to cut their energy consumption. Four Seasons Windpower and its subsidiary, Wind Solutions Power Co. possess a viable solution.

Four Seasons Windpower/Wind Solutions Power Co. (“WSPC”) is preparing for the commercial roll out of Wind Solutions Power Co.®, a wind energy systems provider that promotes and distributes electricity to urban and off-grid locations from our Four Seasons Wind Turbines and proprietary System Integrator’s.

Wind Solutions Power Co.® wind driven power plants will be installed on customer properties where electricity will be generated and distributed directly to the customer at fixed, long-term rates. Primary markets include urban, off-grid and specific locations withing municipalities with electricity users in the commercial, industrial, municipal, educational and residential sectors that utilize over 1 million  kilowatt hours of electricity annually. Any location that currently pays high rates for electricity could benefit from FSW/Wind Solutions Power Co® products. Remote and island, off-grid communities, powered by hydrocarbon-burning generators, are also candidates for FSW/Wind Solutions Power Co.® products as a low cost supplemental renewable source of power. Electricity storage may be added with deep-discharge batteries if desired.

FSW/Wind Solutions Power Co.
Build, Own and Operate, (business model)

WSPC generates and sells power from FSW/WSPC® provided equipment which may or may not be placed at a customers facility and directly powers that facility, or a facility elsewhere. FSW/WSPC® only recommends equipment that meets Qualifying Small Power Production Facility Status ("Qualifying Facility" or "QF"), under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978, ("PURPA"), enabling the sale of electricity at retail pricing.

This business model provides the following direct and intrinsic benefits to the power user:

  • A source for alternative, renewable electricity with or without capital investment.
  • Long term, fixed power supply rates provide a hedge against future utility rate increases.
  • Tax incentives are available for these installations.
  • FSW/WSPC® equipment may be eligible for a variety of financial incentives, grants, loans and/or subsidies, many of which are state and country specific, should equipment purchase be desired.

Wind Solutions Power Co. will also sell the Four Seasons Windpower (FSW) turbine systems directly to the customer and provide service and maintenance under a long-term contract.
The expected maintenance requirements for a Four Seasons Windpower (FSW) system are minimal, with annual preventative maintenance and inspections anticipated.

Commercial roll out of FSW turbines is targeted for the spring of 2007. WSPC will coordinate commercial production of FSW turbine components, all of which will be contract manufactured, and manage the installation of the system at customer’s location(s).
